The Gathering Place

Delightful. Wonderful. S P A C I O U S. CLEAN. Beautiful. Homey. Feels like a large nook-- with a ton of rooms -- where we got to commune with friends and family. The kitchen rocks and has room for a bazillion real cooks to not get in each others' way. (I/We do wish there was a second half-bath/toilet for when lots of folks are present.) It's a short drive from accessible beach with parking. As a tribal Elder, being able to have a firepit for Fire Ceremony OUTSIDE right next to a warm, soft couch INSIDE was an incredible treat! ;-D Multiple driveways and parking spaces let us fit everyone's car close to the house, a boon especially in New England Winter. I/We stayed in the at-ground-level Master Bedroom... sooooo comfy. So many drawers and so much closet space!!! And the house, overall, is TIGHTTIGHTTIGHT: once it gets warm, it STAYS warm. I/we hope the only folx who rent thi spsace are folx who will LOVE this house the way it deserves. It's an HAVEN in a New England!

We had a wonderful weekend at Melanie's. The house is tucked away in a quiet beautiful neighborhood. It is lovely and spacious offering ample space for sleeping, cooking and gathering for many people. The kitchen had all we needed to cook nourishing meals and to feed everyone. We were surprised and delighted to find that the water is filtered and delicious! There is a beautiful private beach a short peaceful walk from the house. Melanie was warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a weekend of connection and relaxation.

The host is amazing & generous. The house is immaculate, serene, & conducive for relaxation. It has everything you need & walking distance to the beach. I would definitely go back. Highly recommend.

If you want to gather with a small group of people and be near the ocean on the South Shore in Massachusetts, this home will hold you as a home away from home. With plentiful bedrooms, a stocked kitchen with equipment, a sweet living room, dining rooms (+ includes a long table for conferencing and a table for eating connected to the kitchen), plentiful parking and even an outdoor patio and fire area you will find what you need. It is a very short walk to a beautiful beach and roaring ocean. We were very grateful for our time there together as a group.

Stayed a weekend with friends, it was lovely, welcoming and comfortable. Short walk to the beach. I enjoyed cooking in a well appointed kitchen, relaxing in the living room and a comfortable downstairs bed. This house has a lovely beachy vibe and is perfect for a getaway!
