I have had a very non stressful, kind , compassionate, timely experience brining my pets here. I know they will always be well cared for. Recommend to everyone.

Everyone at VEG Newton was so kind, but not overly dramatic. Clear in their communication and didn't sugar coat/give false promises. I was so worried when I needed to bring my senior pup in close to midnight and by the time we left I felt confident she was going to be 100% fine. I wish I remembered everyone's names because they all deserve a shout-out!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Before coming in, I was reading through all of these reviews myself, but I was nervous about my dog. Firsthand I must say I had the best experience, far exceeding my expectations. They deserve every one of their many positive reviews. I brought my Pomeranian in Sunday morning, he was lethargic, not eating or drinking. Immediately upon entering the kind receptionist was so calm and welcoming. It was so clean and didn't smell like a pet hospital at all. Our dog was weighed and my mom and I were shown to a little couch to sit on. I saw how they were treating the other dogs and cats in the facility and from that alone I knew we were in really good hands. I was really reluctant to bring him in because he has a history of not being very friendly, but I made sure to tell all members of the team, and they were so grateful for the heads up. Somehow though, thanks to their gentle care, our little guy remained almost perfectly calm the whole time (granted with a cone on) and allowed them to touch and hold him for exams, take bloodwork for labs, and to give fluids, etc. Everything was explained every step of the way: what the plan was, future steps of care at home, and also we were given an estimate for cost very early on after initial examination which was really nice and transparent. Also their level of care and the amazing experience was worth every penny. Genuinely a team of angels working there! Comforting our dog, assuring my mom and I, and even when my dog peed and pooped on me (and nurse Ethan, oops!), they were so quick to help clean up and told me not to worry. We were with him the entire time. Huge huge thanks to everyone there, but especially thanks to Dr. Sophie Epstein and Nurses Ethan and Ella for your care, patience, and kindness.

They let my dog die over money. I only 600 so they kept the dog for 2 hours with fluids then sent her home and she died. She was 4 years old. Stay far away from veg newton if you have an emergency with your dog/loved one. They are only in it for the money !!!!!

I cannot speak highly enough of the emergency room vet office. Every time my dog has needed urgent care, they have shown unparalleled kindness and expertise. Despite the stressful situations, the staff always takes the time to ensure both my dog and I feel supported and cared for.One aspect that truly sets this vet office apart is their remarkable efficiency. The waiting times are impressively short, which is a huge relief during moments of panic and worry. Knowing that help is readily available brings immense peace of mind. But what truly warms my heart is the genuine affection they show towards my clumsy pup. Despite his frequent visits due to his accidents, they never fail to remember him and greet us with warmth and understanding. It's evident that they truly love animals and are invested in their well-being.
