    I rent several times a year and have never had an issue until this time. I reserved a compact SUV for 1/21 -1/26 at 10am. On 1/23, a representative called to confirm, I reiterated I wanted an AWD and was assured that was fine but could I come in at noon instead. Fine, thought I was all set, I get there and the parking lot and steps hadn't been plowed, I slipped, I'm disabled. Asked to wait if I wanted the AWD, waited aprox, 45 minutes. I returned the car early on Monday the 25th, was told it smelled like smoke so hit with an extra charge, I did smoke outside of the car. Not my usual Enterprise experience.

    I am reaching out today to provide feedback of a rental car experience we had at your Farmington, Maine location on July 09, 2021. We reserved a premium rental car in the beginning of April, 2021 in preparation for a road trip to Florida for my sons birthday. We needed to follow a particular schedule to get to Florida on my sons birthday. So it was important we leave on Friday, July 9. I didnt want anything to go wrong so I contacted the Enterprise office a few weeks in advance to discuss the importance of car being ready for a noon pickup. I was advised everything would be ready. We showed at 11:30 am on the 9th and the only car in the parking lot was a Hyundai Elantra which was not what we reserved or wanted. We reserved a premium car because we were going on a lengthy road trip; we wanted to be comfortable. We wanted the trunk space because it was me (Im 63), my wife, my sister in law and my son. Also needed to bring a cooler. Ive rented cars several times, and I understand that sometimes rental reservations cant be kept. Ive never been downgraded, tho. If the reservation cant be kept I believe the normal is to upgrade not downgrade two levels of quality as I believe this car we received is listed as a mid-size on your website. I also understand this location is smaller and somewhat limited, but what infuriates me is when a family member drives by this location today (July 10) the very next day and sees two full to premium size cars in the parking lot in Farmington, Maine. This makes my family feel like our business is not appreciated. If this is not corrected in some fashion, we are done using Enterprise. I also utilized my employer discount for this rental and will be advising my co-workers of my experience. We are currently in Florida and will leave for home on the morning of July 15. Im going back to my vacation. Thank You, Josh
