Room was not clean. Stains all over sheets, floor and mattress cover. Had to cancel, leave and go to another hotel at 9 PM at night. Staff was friendly, that is the only nice thing I can say. Stay at Aloft in Newport. Its worth it. Im not one to post bad reviews, this is just my honest experience to warn others that arent from here and dont know what to expect.

I've waited 3 months to write this review but I still think it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I paid $130 for the worst night. I have been wanting to stay here since I was a kid and it was so disappointing. When I checked in there was a burst pipe, water everywhere, and the elevators were out of service-- it was winter so I gave the benefit of the doubt that it was an unfortunate event. We had to use a filthy service elevator in the back of the dirtiest kitchen area. The room itself was no better than the Super 8 or a Motel 6. Outdated, dirty, and weird. At 4am, the fire alarms went off (I was on the 12th floor) it was literally my nightmare. I had to go down 12 flights of stairs and check and then go back up 12 flights of stairs after they said it was contained but neither me or my daughter could go back to sleep because we had so much anxiety. Breakfast not included lol. It was the worst. The only good thing was the people that worked there were really nice.
