        Not a great first-time experience whatsoever while getting my taxes done. H&R Block advertised $89 online to have taxes prepared, and it ended up costing close to $200. Absolute rip-off. Once I complained about the cost, they scrambled to get a coupon for a slight discount. Overall it will cost you an arm and a leg to get your taxes done here. Weeks later, I get a letter from the IRS (First time ever that this has happened) that H&R Block screwed up (preparing my simple tax return) and that my tax return will be $300 less than originally expected. Id prepare your taxes yourself, or go somewhere else. Especially if there is a risk that the IRS sends a love letter afterwards.
