    Ive lived at The Apex for a little over a week and absolutely love it! The walking area is very conducive for my dog and I, the location to shops and restaurants is great, and the retail space on the 1st floor is amazing! Cant recommend this place enough!

    After experiencing an emergency, Chantel assisted my friend with the upmost kindness and professionalism. She is here for you, as a person, first. I cannot express how grateful we are for her guidance through what was a very stressful situation. Her empathy and sweet soul is exactly what you need when working with a leasing agent. I cannot recommend her enough but would love for Apex to recognize not only her hard work, but that they have an angel working among them.

    AVOID BLOCK MULTIFAMILY GROUP. Beautiful Apartment Complex. Excellent location. Terrible Management Group. BEWARE - You will enjoy this place as long as you do not have any issues with your unit. The Management company for this apartment is Block Multifamily Group. Make sure to avoid working with them. No timely responses and ZERO care for customer service. The people at this complex will not do anything to help you with any issues or problems in your unit. My unit had a water leak and they moved me to a studio. Then with less than 6 hours notice, I was told to move to a hotel booked. I had to leave work early and take pot to pack a suitcase as they required me to be out by 3pm. NO compensation for food given there is no kitchen at the hotel. Then moved back to an apt at city place after the weekend to stay for a week during maintenance. And again, when maintenance finished I was told at 11am on a Friday that I needed to move back to my apt by 1pm the same day. Just for a different employee to call me at 1215 asking why I hadnt been out yet. There was a complete lack of compassion or respect for my time.I had to fight to have the rent for that month covered by the apartment after months of no communication. Just for no compensation to be had. Instead management tried to say it was my fault. Terrible experience with this people and will be relocating ASAP. Amenities are poor quality as well! The Single Star is for the Unforked KC store on the bottom level. The owner is a great gentleman who cares about his customers. Wonderful people to work with and the best thing that came out of living here. Sorry for all the words!

    Dear Prospective Residents, I find it necessary to provide you with a candid overview of the current state of affairs at this residence. Regrettably, the management's approach to handling issues is less than satisfactory, leaving residents with a sense of neglect. Among the notable concerns are instances of dog waste in hallways, acoustically thin walls that transmit noises from neighboring units, and neighbors who disregard the non-smoking policy. Persistent issues with malfunctioning garage doors have led to security breaches, including incidents of car thefts from supposedly secure spaces. A significant theft problem, notably affecting packages, compounds the challenges faced by the community. Instances of children stealing from residents' doors further contribute to security concerns. Shared community spaces present their own set of challenges, with animals roaming freely and residents neglecting to clean up after them. The overall cleanliness of these spaces is compromised, marked by walls, stained carpets, and unattended spills in hallways and elevators. The mismanagement extends to trash rooms, often filled beyond capacity, resulting in unsightly messes. Residents, instead of utilizing the designated garage trash facilities when full, contribute to the exacerbation of this problem. Moreover, this past summer at the pool has been a mess. Due to belligerent drunk residents, the pool was closed several times in the summer, adding another layer of disruption to the community. Furthermore, it is imperative to note that today the apartment floor was filled with smoke, and no alarms were triggered. This incident raises heightened concerns, and as a concerned resident, I find it pertinent to alert future residents to the existing challenges within this community. While the aesthetic appeal and amenities of The Apex are noteworthy, the management's shortcomings and disruptive resident behavior significantly impact the overall living experience. Hi Keshav,I'm disheartened to hear that you feel you were met with anything less than amazing customer service, while we addressed a leak that you later admitted that you had seen on several prior occasions but didn't report it. I'm also not here to split hairs, but I would like to mention that we allowed you to choose your hotel (one which included breakfast and early evening hor d'oeuvres), as you preferred one that was closer to your office. We then placed you in our 2-bedroom 2 bathroom fully furnished guest suite after your hotel stay concluded (concluded due to a sellout of rooms). Again, I'm very sorry that you feel that you were not treated with the utmost respect from our team.
