From my very first appointment with Dr. Weinkle to my cataract surgery and after care ~ my experience has been amazing. Dr. Weinkle and his entire staff have given me the best care, answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable at every visit. I went into my surgery feeling a little nervous of course but mostly confident and very excited about being able to see clearly again. The procedure was quick, easier than expected and totally pain free! I was so used to having poor vision, I don't think I realized how much it was affecting my daily life. Now, each morning when I wake up and open my eyes I am filled with so much gratitude. Thank you Dr. Weinkle, the entire staff at Palm Coast Eye Center and Sarasota Physicians Surgical Center!

I had a scheduled appointment for over a year. I had my reminder call a few days ago and arrived this morning 8/3/21 at 8AM. Completed all the paperwork and copies were made of my insurance cards.I was then told since I had already had cataract surgery I was not eligible to see the doctor since all he does is cataract surgery. Why wasn't I told this at the time I made my appointment  also this and other web sites say under services provided "comprehensive dilated eye exams". The office manager was too busy to speak with me so the new receptionist kept going back asking her questions.I am left feeling there is a lot of money in cataract surgery and this office is making it.

Dr. Wenkle and his staff are first class professionals, and I can't recommend them highly enough. He's a highly-skilled surgeon, but not only that he truly cares about you as an individual patient. He's a self-described "perfectionist," which my new (and perfect) vision can vouch for. He implanted the PanOptix lens, which is amazing, in both eyes. I've since tossed my multiple pairs of readers, and even my far vision (which I though was fine) is vastly improved. The procedure was quick, painless, and you get the feeling he could perform it in his sleep. Overall a terrific experience, and this is coming from someone who stubbornly avoids visiting healthcare professionals.

I could go into detail about how I've had to wear glasses since the age of 6( I'm 59 now) or how bad my eyesight has deteriorated in the last few years, but I'd rather talk about how I've gained the best eyesight of my life since Dr. Weinkle performed cataract surgery on both eyes. My eyesight has been nothing short of amazing, I can see with a clarity I've never had before!! I never realized until I started losing my eyesight, just how much I took my vision for granted. It is a gift, and through Dr. Weinkle's skill and expertise as a surgeon, he has restored that gift to it's full potential and I am beyond grateful. Thank you so much Dr. Weinkle, you have changed my life in a way I did not think was possible. And while I am at it, thank you for your wonderful staff, they are great If you are having issues with failing eyesight, I highly recommend Dr. Weinkle. Thank you again!!
