Stayed here for spring break March 24-28. The hotel is ok, rooms are good size for my family of 5. Dont count on the free breakfast anytime after 9am, everything was empty and several times they were even out of plates/silverware. On the last night I killed this cockroach before it ran into my room. Personally I have never seen one so big! I mentioned it to staff as I was checking out and was waived parking for 2 nights. My time in DC was great but unfortunately the cockroach is the first thing they tell people when asked about our trip.

Overcrowded and understaffed.
Rooms: Spacious and well equipped.
Walkability: The neighborhood is beautiful, it is a pleasure to walk there, but you have to be ready to walk a lot to all the attractions, but there is a metro in 5-10min of walking.
Food & drinks: The food at breakfast was good. The only problem is that something was always missing: plates, forks, caps, juice. Some of the food was finished in the first hour of the breakfast and didn't refilled again.
The food at dinner was extremely expensive relative to the quality.

The LA and Detroit Embassy Suites need to step up their game. This is clearly the standard.

Overall good hotel. Would stay there again. That had service everyday for the room which was nice. Everything was in good working order. The staff was nice and helpful if you needed anything. The breakfast was quite nice with an omelette station plenty of seating. Theres also a grocery store right across the street which is great if you soda really anything if the restaurants closed.
