Had an emergency on a holiday and they were here within 2 hours. Would highly recommend them!!! So, I have to update my review. Our emergency turned into a major repair. What started out as water backing up into our basement ended up being a total replacement of the sewer pipe that leads from our house to the main sewer line. When they came out on the holiday, they tried 3 times to clear the drain and the main pipe in the basement. They were able to clear a significant amount, but they found that the worst of the blockage was almost 30 feet from the house. It was possible the pipe had partially collapsed from previous work the water department had completed the previous year. Before they left, they stated their expert would be out the next day. They had a sewer expert at our house the first thing the following morning. They said we would be their first appointment that morning and they didn't lie. Darryl was prompt and brought more equipment to try and trouble shoot the problem further. Long story short, the aging pipe needed to be replaced. It wasn't what we wanted to hear, obviously, but Darryl went over every step of the process in a clear and concise way so that we understood fully what this would entail. We were advised this could possibly be a 2 day job because of the depth of the pipe and due to other utilities being buried close. They were out here bright and early Thursday morning and began. The whole crew worked tirelessly and methodically and actually completed the bulk of the job in one day to our amazement. As i type this the morning after, they have just finished seeding the area and covering with straw. I truly wish i could offer them more than 5 stars. We have every intention of relying on Mr. Rooter for all of our plumbing needs, big or small. We are so grateful for their service!
