PART 2: Maxwell I hope others can beware before taking their vehicle to this place!!! I have attached pictures of receipts with Mark but the story gets even crazier. Mark calls the cops and I get the chance to speak to them. I explain to the them my situation, tell them how much I have spent and they exclaimed and told me I was getting ripped off. I tell them Mark threatened to shoot me and they brushed it off and said I should have called them earlier but now its too late. Yeah OKAY. Although they mentioned that this isnt the first time they are having complaints about Mark, they did not think it was this bad. They then proposed I take the case to a small claims court since they cannot be involved with domestic problems. They said marks business has a mechanics lein and i was obligated to pay for these warrantied new parts. Keep that in mind, I said warrantied. After much deliberation and pain of being constantly discriminated as a black man, I succumb to Marks greed again and had to pay him for parts my car did not need. To make things more difficult, Mark insisted to the cops that I had to pay all of that in cash and no credit card, forced me to sign a receipt as his evidence (since his reciepts never really have a part number) before he will consider releasing the vehicle. After being ripped off for a third time, i took my car away defeated, gathering as much evidence and understanding how much I had been ripped off. I take my car to other mechanics and explain the situation, they propose I go back and get those replacements because I basically threw away my money. The thing was, Mark had installed 80% of the parts incorrectly, and since they were under warranty, paying for them a second time was basically giving out free cash. I finally get recommended to some mechanic in Taftville, for privacy reasons I will keep their name off this review. They try to see if NAPA auto parts could help replace the parts and pay them for labor. They did try to help see a way around it but the owner since he knew Mark ended up convincing Mark to honour his warranty and fix the vehicle. Now we are in October. Mark gives me another appointment. I tell him that i need the front wheel bearing replaced since they were both bad. Mark fixed only one of them and his assistant Bella calls me and tell me that although they fixed it , i need to replace the lower control arm and get new wheels. Uhhh, confused I said You guys asked me to replace the control arm earlier, shouldnt that be warrantied too?. She freezes and says she will call me back. Two hours later Bella calls me back and says youre all set and I am like so did you replace the control arms too? And she says no sorry i confused you with another customer. REALLLLLLYYY???? I then ask, okay did he replace both wheel bearings? And she said no just the warrantied one. I say but you replaced both the last time, why not just do it again. Bella and Mark then said only the left one was warrantied. Knowing the kind of business they run, I left the shop with car hoping it doesnt break down. It did and I called Mark explaining the issue, he said he was backed up and he wanted nothing to do with me again. Today is October 14 and I take my car to the billionth mechanic and they check the car only to find that Mark had installed the brake pads incorrectly. Putting the front in the back and the back in the front. Causing the callipers to make contact with the rotors and destroy the disk. You know at this point, I just feel like its his incompetence and pride that will be his downfall. But I tell you this story so you can avoid this business. Just RUN. I am writing this statement because I will be filing suits with Marks business before the end of the year. That I assure you.

BEWARE BEWARE!!! Take your business elsewhere if you get the chance!! All the bad reviews are true!!! I took my car here for repairs in July, and it has been a never ending nightmare. I went to have a leak fixed in my moonroof and it has been the Mark (owner) saga ever since. I still have the same leaking issue but now with dirty hand smudges on my headliner, both visors broken, seatbelts broken, headliner falling down and no shade for the moonroof as that was destroyed by Marks company. See attached photos. I left my car to be worked on multiple times for days at a time with absolutely no work done to the vehicle as my Uber rides continued to add up. He said he would reimburse me for the work he did if the problem persists but now he is trying to talk his way out of that too. Slimey business owner with not much better help. Car is in worse condition than when I first brought it in and Im out $2000!! Do not bring your business here. Run while you still can!!

Right, Ive waited about 7 months to give my review of Mark and his team because I wanted to be logical about this and help others avoid the same troubles Ive had to go through. If I wrote this a month ago, it would have been filled with insults to Mark and it wouldnt have gone. 6 months ago, I brought my car to Mark with my front brakes being the issue. Mark diagnosed the vehicle and told me that I needed to replace the left driver wheel bearings on my vehicle. He also diagnosed some minor leaks but later admitted that he could not find anything there after charging me 60 USD for change of oil(which of course i did not ask for). Anyways, I get Mark to begin repairs and he charged me about $600 total the first time (It might be a little more but my memory skips me since its been so long). Two days later, my car feels worse than it did prior to bringing it to Mark. I called him and went by the shop. Believe me, we stayed till 7pm trying to figure out what the problem was. Turns out he didnt not tie a knot properly causing the driver side wheel to lock up (imagine the risk of that running on the highway). For 2 weeks after that, I kept returning to Marks shop because one thing or the other was falling apart. After about a month, Mark diagnosed a caliper problem and charges me $573 on what he felt was the new problem. He insisted i need new bearings, tie rods and rotors/brake pads. I expressed that my understanding with having a mechanic diagnose your vehicle is that, they are looking for the problem and its their responsibility to charge you based on what they feel is the problem or its a money back guarantee. Mark refused. He said these are problems he did not anticipate and its either I agree to pay for that or I should leave his shop. Out of desperation to get my car fixed since I use it for work, I budged and paid him the extra $573. Maybe a week or two pass and I start experiencing loud noises on the highway, clanks and scratches. My wheels felt like it was about to fall off and any minor turn made the loudest noises you can imagine. I call Mark and he tells me to wait a couple days. Mind you, I live in Connecticut and I am experiencing these problems in Jersey. After spending more than a thousand dollars on repairs at this point. Okay now we are in July, and I am clearly upset. Mark has me running around looking for ways to fix my car and spending more money. I bring my vehicle to him and Mark says that he believe the lower control arm is the problem. He says hell have to change my oil also and replace the front right wheel bearing. I reacted since my car has not been fixed since the beginning and he JUST KEEPS CHARGING MORE MONEY. He said I should and I quote fuck off, Or agree to pay for the new fixes (you must thinking I am joking but trust me I also was in disbelief). He said hes the mechanic and he knows what he is saying. Again, I tell him this is the last time I will be dealing with him and if the car is not fixed after this, I will not be paying for the repairs. He calls me later that evening, tells me my car is ready and I head over to the shop. I ask to test drive my car before I pay just like we agreed and he refused and remained adamant on me paying first. After much back and forth, i explained to his assistant Bella that he promised I could drive and see if it feels good. She gave me the keys and I had one of his apprentices go on with me. I drive the car and as I begin to make turns, you can clearly tell the wheel bearings had gone bad again due to poor installation. I get back to the shop and Mark runs at me demanding to give him my keys till I pay. I explain the car still isnt fixed and Mark starts getting angry. Mark called me a son of a bitch and insulting my mother (you can go interview his assistant and workers, they all bore witness to this). Mark stands in front of his door and claims he will shoot me and beat me up if I do not return my keys to him. He then calls the police and I get the chance to talk to the police (TO BE CONTINUED.
