The food for the conference was GREAT and seeing the prices at the Omni eateries we are fortunate it was included. The room was nice, the hotel was clean and most of the staff were great too. We had two bad experiences with front desk staff, rude and lazy, really off-putting, and we had one very good exchange with a front desk person. A little personnel "house cleaning" or training is needed. Rooms: Small but nice. Walkability: Great downtown walk ability.

Rooms: Nice soft cozy room with views. Nearby activities: There are plenty of food options and open spaces to enjoy. Walkability: In downtown New Haven you can't go wrong with finding a variety of activity within walking distance. Food & drinks: I enjoyed a delicious meal starting drinking an old fashioned dirty martini with gin, an appetizer of deviled eggs, and pasta with a tomato-based mushroom sauce. For dessert I salivated over the expresso cream brle. Great service. Avoid seating by the kitchen; it's a bit noisy.

Their website very plainly says that "We will validate parking up to 3 hours when dining in the bar or restaurant" I spent $30 at the bar last night, they refused to validate my parking saying they only do so for restaurant patrons. Horrible service, plenty of other places in the area to grab a bite and a drink that do validate parking and aren't rude about it.
