Hampton Inn Danbury

We had a wonderful experience...clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast. We appreciated the availability of hot coffee 24 hours a day.

Stay away from rm 214. The heating unit has a deteriorated gasket around it and leaks very cold air when the wind is blowing despite it being addressed by the building Engineer it wasn't fixed. The thermostat says 74 when it's 64... The after hours help was excellent though and resolved the thermostat issue. I was there for 4 days, got bronchitis and a watering eye from being chilled for those first 4 days... I came back after the weekend and they gave me the same room for the next four days. I wrapped bath towels around the heating unit to keep the very cold air from pouring in. The front desk was awesome, the building Engineer not so much.

stayed there to attend family events check in was quick and easy - given 2 water bottles for the stay room was clean and spacious **** breakfast was included... looked good = but unfortunately a 11-13 year old boy decided it was a good thing to take his bare hands and grab meat out of the tray **** so the food obviously went into the trash and I had to go grab food elsewhere

Super friendly staff. The person who greeted us when we arrived and the person who helped me at the desk this afternoon were fantastic. Room was clean, spacious, and had a decent lounge area (not just the beds and dresser like some rooms). I didn't research enough and was sort of bummed the room didn't have a microwave, but there was one near the breakfast I could use. Breakfast was okay. Overall was a good stay.
