Dave and Jules have been so helpful. Dave helped with a plot plan that we needed and we met with Dave and Jules to go over some building plans for a future build. It was good to be able to see all of our costs and understand how the numbers will work. I appreciated that they were honest about how much it will cost and how materials are being affected by inflation. Service: Consultation

I have revised my review The pictures show lack of craftsmanship and compliance with industry standards. Horner Homes largely was unresponsive to questions about why costs were so expensive, and weren't adjusted after our project changed. Shortly after we challenged an additional cost they were trying to charge is when Horner Homes canceled the contract. My son, daughter, and I performed 98% of the demolition. Horner was primarily installing new electrical, plumbing, drywall, and cabinets, which were purchased elsewhere so the cabinet cost is NOT included in the amounts summarized here. Horner Homes also put up a roughly 16 extension to an already existing wall, and were to install new flooring. We paid out over $63,000.00 on an over $83,000.00 project, but the photos show what we received in return for what we paid. Please pay close attention to the number of screws, or should I say lack thereof, holding up the new drywall, not to mention the already damaged areas, and their failure to cover/protect my brand new $500.00 under cabinet baseboard hot water heater, see photo. Horner Homes also failed to fix any deficiencies after we provided them a CDARA notice. In my opinion, people should save their money and find a different contractor who wont take money for work that either wasn't completed or wasn't completed according to industry standards. To reiterate, we did not have the time or excess funds to contest this in court, or else we would have. Instead, a settlement was reluctantly reached. This is NOT an attack on Horner Homes' business out of anger, yet anger would be understandable given the money we spent versus the services and materials actually provided. This is simply FACTUAL evidence with photos as proof for the public at large. You claim a dangerous issue was not disclosed, yet even our children recall the very issue to which I believe you're referring. You should be fully aware that the dangerous issue I believe you are referring to was resolved by your workers, as we have the additional paid invoice to prove it. YOUR workers corrected it, yet that is not when any legal action was mentioned nor addressed with us, contrary to your claim. That issue is also not the additional costs I referred to earlier here, but as with other instances during our project, you claimed you knew without knowing all the facts. I have texts and emails to back these facts as well. Your crews continued to perform work on our project after the allegedly dangerous issue was resolved, and up to the day before you canceled the building permit and canceled the contract. I cant say enough about this business. They are an amazing family owned business that truly care about not only the quality of work but the client as well. They did a complete tear out and rebuild of my master bath (in one week). From the initial meetings with the designer and picking out all of my materials to the very end and even installing hardware that I purchased on my own. The crew was here everyday when they said they would be and worked, sometimes late into the evening on a Saturday. They were all so very respectful and kind and didnt get annoyed when I was constantly wanting to see the progress and even explained everything that was happening. Best of all, the owners were here almost everyday to check on the progress and just chat with me. As they told me from the very first meeting, they were not the cheapest, but the quality of work and the experience I received, was well worth it and I would absolutely choose them for any of my future needs. Thank you so much Dave, Jules, Jared and the entire crew of Horner Homes!!!!
