The Skylark

We had a fantastic week at the Skylark. It is a fun little retro hotel. Everything is freshly painted and looks great. Our room was just steps from the pool area. There were always plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas to choose from. Our room was large and comfortable. We had an amazing, king-sized bed. There were three large comfortable armchairs to relax in and watch the large screen TV. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and offered hot bacon and egg frittata as well as toast and cereal. We were sorry to leave but will definitely be back. Nearby activities: It is a 5 minute drive to the main area of downtown Palm Springs. Quick to access the I 10 for going to other areas of the valley.

Great value for your money!! Great staff. Sheila assisted us with our check in. Was very efficient and friendly. Great breakfast too! Highly recommend this place

This was one of the most pleasant hotels of all our stays in the US. There is a parking lot at the back. Everything has been recently renovated. There is a very pleasant atmosphere and it is very quiet. The reception consists of an airstreamer. The view of the mountains all around is breathtaking. The breakfast is simple but delicious. The coffee is also very tasty. The swimming pool is ideal and heated. After sunset it suddenly gets dark and colder, but that's part of it. Very friendly staff and very clean rooms. Highly recommended. Rooms: Newly renovated, pleasant and neat rooms. Nearby activities: 5 minutes from Palm Springs center. Safety: The hotel is gated and you are given a key to enter. Food & drinks: Only breakfast is possible. The offering is simple but sufficient and very tasty, just like the coffee.
