Shamrock Construction

We used Corky Campbell, Shamrock Construction, recently to to do a room addition on the 3rd floor in home. It proved to be a more difficult job than expected because of some unanticipated electrical issues. Corky handled them all very well and finished a beautiful job right on time. The new room has become our favorite room in our home. I would recommend Corky to anyone to get quality work done on time. He is a fine fellow and easy to work with. Service: Remodeling

The owner, Corky, was the friendliest contractor I ever spoke to. He went out of his way to carefully listen to everything I told him on the phone and drove all the way to my house in Malibu to see the work. Although he didn't do the work himself he recommended his tradesmen, who he brought with him, to do the work. And he refused to let me pay him. Glad to know there are still honest people out there!! Thank you!!!

I got to spend a little over four months with Corky and his crew and they were amazing.  Corky really took to heart our situation with having a newborn as well as my mother living with us and made sure the impact to our lives was as minimal as possible.  Corky added an addition to our house including a bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet.  He also extended our second story master bathroom and closet and did a full remodeled of the outside of our home including new roof, paint and concrete.  He listened to my crazy ideas and then brought them to life for me.  He is a seasoned professional who knows what will work and what won't.  The subs he uses are the absolute best.  The were all professional and did amazing work.  If there were any changes or corrections that needed to be made they were all over it no questions asked.  I want to thank Corky for giving us a home that is beautiful and comfortable for us and our children.  We are eternally grateful.

I rarely write reviews. However, this one is worthy. If youve gone through renovations and youre looking for a solid person, then you need to read this review. I will get to the heart of it and youll understand what Im trying to convey. We selected Shamrock Construction through a recommendations from a trust realtor. Shamrock Construction is the real deal. With 40 plus years of experience, Corky understands the business. Over the years my wife and I have been involved with numerous remodeling projects and by far no one come close to what Corky does and can do. Our recent project was by far the most involved and most weve ever spent. As a way of background, we are one of many casualties of the Woolsey Canyon Fire in November 2018. Our house was a total loss. This led us to purchase a home in Santa Rosa Valley which was a real fixer upper from our perspective. We completed gutted an outdated house over 4,000 square feet, expanded the footprint and modernize the entire house. This involved numerous structural issues among other things closely working with the folks from the Ventura County Building and Safety. Heres what you should expect to get when you hire Shamrock Construction: High quality workmanship He take true pride in this work. He expects the best and wants to deliver the best product. Integrity As honest and straight forward as a person can be. The conversations we had regarding costs were focused on what he thought would be good for the house and adding the modern aesthetics. Believe me, every penny worth it. Attention to details Our project was very complex ranging from custom sinks, plumbing, all new tile floors (4.300 SF, every line on the tiles throughout the house perfectly aligned), frameless pivot doors to custom baseboards. All requiring tremendous attention to details to get it right. Excellence in customer care During the last few day of the project we noticed a small chipped tile, barely noticeable. He had it replaced that day. Its been 2 months since the completion of the project and he checks in with me weekly. Who does that now a days? Understanding the sequence of complex work Our project was a massive endeavor. Not once did I feel that the sequence was off requiring a lot of duplicate efforts. Coordination with subcontractors - He uses top notch subs, people hes worked with and more importantly genuinely cares about their customers. He deals with people of highest caliber and surround himself with the best, like him. He is trustworthy. He does what he said.
