JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort

Would have bought more drinks if bar staff worked together with security to control those who can't handle their liquor consumption.

The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is very friendly but the breakfast disappointed me, they charge $35 dollars a day whether you consume it or not and the breakfast is packaged food, not at all pleasant, we went for a Pepsi in a bottle and they were already expired, the food is not useful,,for the price of the rooms should offer a good breakfast Nearby activities: The Disneyland parks are a 15-minute walk away and many restaurants nearby. The hotel has a very good location.

I stayed at the JWMarriott on the evening of March 22, 2024. We were celebrating my grandsons 3rd birthday at Disney on the 23rd. I was so excited and rushing to leave that I left an expensive purse and other items in the hotel room. I was graciously taken care of by Victor Ovando. He has been so kind getting them sent to me and even included items I forgot I left. I cant not tell you how grateful I am for Victors customer service. Hes a Super Star in my book!!!

The service was great and the hotel looks beautiful. HVAC unit outside my room was noisy, but that's my only complaint.

So the good bits. Staff are excellent without exception from the room housekeepers through to the bar and reception staff and the valet parkers. However there are not enough of them. 2 bar staff trying to serve over 200 conference guests and 1 receptionist means delays. Food offering was reasonably priced and reasonably tasty. Pretty standard international hotel fayre. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive and again the staff in the restaurant were excellent. The rooms are large and comfortable , but the shower in mine had the power of a water pistol. What's more concerning however is that automatic fire doors were propped open , and the safety certificates on the elevators were over a year out of date. See pictures.
