        This is a good hike but basically an up hike. great views. the map says 0.7 miles but no way, maybe as the crow flies. its an hour up. bring hiking sticks if u r not real fleet of foot.

        Really cool trail if youre wanting an awesome sunset! Someone suggested this to us and it did not disappoint. The hike is pretty short. Pretty easy switchbacks. Id suggest getting there an hour before sunset. Theres enough light after the sun sets to get back down but Id bring a flashlight just in case. I stayed to look at stars and it gets dark!

        This was my favorite hike around Sedona thus far easily due to the quick elevation gain via boulders and great views once atop Bear Mountain.
