I've never had a bad experience using Alabama Tax, Shelby Dodd has been outstanding every year with anything we needed help with. I started out with my parents the first year I was able to file and now our oldest daughter will be using her for her first year filing as well, so we've used her services for over 20 years and would absolutely recommend her to ANYONE who needs their taxes prepared.

DO NOT TRUST THEM. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRESPONSIBLE. I wish there was an option to give 0 stars. Theyll tell you theyll do everything for you and then say they cant do it anymore(right at the day of tax deadline). I went to them two weeks before the deadline and they said theyll call me back in a few days after they resolve an issue. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK! In fact, I kept calling them everyday asking for an update until the day before the deadline and they kept rescheduling, kept saying well call you back. And if we havent called you back, its because we havent figured it out yet. We will figure it out before the deadline, thats what they said when I called them the day before the due date and they still didnt call me back on the due date. I had to go to their office myself. Thats when they said they cant do it anymore! When asked why didnt they call back or said anything before, they acted like it isnt their fault. RIDICULOUS. I should have known better and seen the red flags since the start. I am writing this review so you dont go through what I had to.
