Our double doors are beautiful- BUT every time there is any wind; the doors sling open. Even if I use the deadbolt, it bursts wide open. This has happened so frequently that we now have to put a chest in front of the door before bed in case a storm kicks up. The point of DOORS is to keep your family safe and protected. However when your doors fly open 4 nights of the week, we do not feel like we can rely on the product McDaniel Windows and Doors supplied. The doors do not seal fully. We paid a lot for these practically useless doors. We contacted them a while back and got no help. Every time we called, they told us that anyone that could help was out of office. After calling everyday several different times, we gave up. We also paid for a second door knob to be added, but it was never installed. They said theyd send someone within the week, but that was over a year ago! Now we a stick with a pretty, but unreliable front door and no help. Bottom line- use someone else. The doors are pretty but the customer service is TERRIBLE and if they make a mistake (like mismeasuring and having doors that burst open) they will not come fix it.

More than disappointed in customer service! Had new windows installed on my entire house. For six months I have asked, worked with directly and then with a third party to rectify an extremely leaky window. All that was ever done was a quick trip with a squirt of caulk. Old Anderson windows never leaked....new McDaniel windows have not stopped leaking! The old McDaniel and Doors is most assuredly NOT the new McDaniel and Doors! Disappointed.
