Is Your Business Sending a Message?

In this digital age, business owners are often quick to think that it’s unnecessary to worry about physical advertising for their business. While the Internet has afforded many opportunities in regards to marketing and advertising, something as simple as having a sign for your business can be the difference between a successful company and yet another business going under. No matter how much marketing evolves, businesses will always need to send their customers a message. Strong communication represents the foundation of a thriving business.

Signs can be used to communicate a wide variety of business needs.  Perhaps the entrance to your store is not easily accessible, or your store is blocked from the view of those driving by.  You may be having a sale that you wish to communicate to those driving by, or even just want to let people know what you have in stock.  Non-retailers can take advantage of signs too.  The possibilities for usage are far-reaching.

Don’t believe that signs are worth it? Check out these facts:

•    Over 95% of Americans are reached by media targeting vehicle drivers and passengers
•    30% of mobile outdoor viewers indicate they would base a buying decision on the ad they see
•    29% of shoppers made an unplanned purchase based on what t
hey saw on signs
•    The Small Business Association has observed that business signs are the most cost-effective – highest value – form of advertisement for a small business
•    The average business gets up to 50% of sales from signage, 85% from within 10 km of their location

Communication is key when it comes to running a company. Your customers should always know where you are, what you’re doing, and how to find you. By communicating with your audience, you build trust and a solid relationship with your customer base. With these principles in mind, your business has nowhere to go but up.
