Austin based Whole Foods Market has made an announcement that they have decided to team with former firefighter and healthy eating ambassador Rip Esselstyn and will come up with a new vegetarian product line. The company said that they believe that many consumers in the United States are now focusing on how they can introduce some real good food in their menu and the new Engine 2 Diet will help them to do just that. The company said that they believe that this will help them to improve their profit and revenues in the future.

Some of the food options are based on plant based food and therefore there are no side effects to this product line. The Engine 2 Diet will be available exclusively at Whole Foods Market at all the stores from January 2013. The company claims that the new product line will be low in fat and will have no sugar, no animal product and no added oils as well making it really safe and healthy for consumers that would like to eat healthy and bring down their overall weight in the future. Whole Foods CEO John Mackey that they will be coming up with more such options for the consumers because they believe that the food trend in the nation is changing from fast food to healthy food.
