        This was just an overnight stay for us on the way home to Reno from a toad trip we took to OR. The chalet room we had for the night was outstanding. It included a living room, dining area, and kitchen as well as bathroom and bedroom. Plus a balcony deck overlooking the lake! We would definitely like to come back and spend more time there and possibly with more people. Nearby activities: Golf course looks awesome....don't know much about it. Town is 5-10 min away where there are many restaurants. There is a restaurant in the main resort building which we went to for dinner. Very nice for lunch or dinner. Don't know if they have a breakfast menu.

      Set between Mount Shasta and Mount Eddy, this secluded upmarket resort on a leafy lakefront property is 2 miles from local history at the Mt. Shasta Sisson Museum and 6 miles from Mossbrae Falls.The rustic-chic rooms and chalets come with flat-screen TVs, plus gas fireplaces, kitchenettes or full kitchens, and private decks. Some quarters have Jacuzzis.Parking is complimentary. There's also an 18-hole golf course, a spa and event space, along with a cozy seasonal restaurant that has mountain and lake views.
