I've had a known serious heart complication that can kill me without surgery and I've been out of work an struggling with work and because of a idiotic stipulation to f appropriate hours worked up I've been denied over and over and now this sk loosing my job and the medical insurance I do have when my surgery date is March 1st this year... this surgery I have to have my heart an chest cut into an be temporarily dead to have done and that's not serious enough to have FMLA to have my job an keep me safe! Horrible place! I wish FedEx ground had better care for their actually I'll workers workers who work with a disability and handicap! CUSTOMER SUPPORT/SERVICE DID NOTHING! THATS A LIE THEY WONT HELP!

I'd give them zero stars if at all possible because they are by far one of the worst insurance companies in existence. Go with any other company other than these people.

If I could I would give them a zero. They are the worst insurance company I've ever been forced to deal with. They denied everything everytime, even with everything they asked for from my DOCTORS. Talking to the medical committee and they all said the Hartford always denie,benie, denie.

The Hartford handled two of my maternity leaves and were extremely hard to work with and made it difficult every step of the way. After having a c-section and being a brand new mom the last thing you want to do is stress about whether you will receive the minimal pay that you can get. Well, The Hartford does just that. I would never recommend them to anyone. Every. Single. Coworker of mine who has had a baby or needed to take a leave of absence has had a terrible experience. At least 10 people just at my place of employment. An absolute disgrace of a company.
