We have purchased three Sprinters from Mercedes-Benz of Maui, with the initial two transactions proceeding seamlessly. However, we faced several challenges with our third purchase. Unbeknownst to us at the time, our purchase coincided with both a change in dealership ownership and the final day for our sales representative, which might have contributed to some of the issues experienced. Shortly after taking possession of the vehicle, we encountered several problems, including door alignment issues, excessive noise and vibration, and malfunctioning windshield wipers. Although the dealership's service department was initially responsive, fixing only the wipers promptly, it took multiple visits and significant effort, including a direct appeal to Mercedes-Benz corporate, to address the remaining issues. We also faced administrative hurdles, such as an inability to process a vehicle return due to the dealership's ownership transition and complications with our vehicle registration, which we had to resolve directly with the DMV. Throughout this process, we found the attitude of both the service department and dealership management to be less supportive than expected, which led us to seek resolution through Mercedes-Benz corporate, eventually resulting in a successful lemon law claim. It's important to note that our experiences with Mercedes-Benz vehicles have been overwhelmingly positive, and we attribute the issues we faced largely to service department and dealership management challenges at this specific location. We hope the dealership will take this feedback as an opportunity to improve communication, customer support, and service quality. While we have had a disappointing experience, we believe in the brand and hope that future interactions will be more reflective of Mercedes-Benz's high standards
