Never pulled my caivers. I told them I had a foreclosure and I'd only go through with the inspection and appraisal if I was certain I was safe. You had to be 3 years since the date the house was foreclosed and purchased again. We get to almost closing and got a email saying the underwriter was fired and they found out only my boyfriends caivers was run not mine. So they wasted our time and the buyers time. They did refund me my costs. Not sure if by law or kindness of their heart. I shouldn't of listened to my real estate agent at the time and went with my previous mortgage broker. I called him after this nightmare im tears In 2 minutes that broker knew I wasn't qualified yet and gave me my exact date when i would be he didn't need it to go on for months to get it to an underwriter. There was 4 people all working on our purchase and no one was in the loop. Then they would seem aggravated by questions in helping us buy the condo.i mentioned I had cancer and I am disabled and needed things to be clarified. They talked us into going to our max amount and i had kept receiving mounds of paper work with no clear answer of our monthly payments. Most people must have easy cases. Not advised if you have a foreclosure and they say they can't find a date when they look you up. Waste of time for all involved.
