MP Home Repair

Few months ago, my first floor/ basement flooded. It completely destroyed all carpeting. I found MP Home Repair on Angies list. They were quick to reach out and schedule an appointment to see the project space in person. Marcos came on scheduled date on time, measured everything, talked through options ...etc. He was very pleasant to talk to and very honest. I felt very comfortable giving him the job. Then we communicated via email to finalize estimates and schedule. Him and his crew showed daily on time early morning until 5/6 sometimes 7pm. Marcos came at the end of every day to check on progress and we discussed any observations/ adjustments I had. The crew were very nice and always had no problem readjusting things to how I wanted them to look. Honestly, overall I had a very pleasant experience with them and their prices are competitive. The outcome is incredible, specially compared to what it was, I’m already signing up to remodeling other areas of the house. I would highly recommend them!! Service: Remodelling

Hello, Marcus and his daughter have this fraudulent company. I try to keep it short. He did not show up for work for first three times that we made an appointment. I knew something was wrong and I was very worried because I had already paid 1/3 of the price which was $1000. Then he brough someone else to do the ceramic work. The ceramic guy did a great job, and Marcus said that the $2000 out of the $3000 is for the ceramic work. So, at the end of ceramic work, I gave him another $1000, so he can pay the ceramic guy. It turned out later that he promised only $1100 to the ceramic guy with a check, which later he retrieved and did not pay that poor guy at all!! Then, there were a few small handyman work that he needed to finish and get the last $1000. But guess what, he could not even do a simple door knob change! He is a fraud. DO NOT PAY HIM ANYTHING BEFORE HE FINISHES YOUR PROJECTS! not even for the material because he will run off with whatever you give him. He also used the bathroom with open door and do not respect women! He is a thief for keeping the money that the tile guy deserved and did a great work. All Marcus did was to come there and pull his pants down in the bathroom without closing the door. Watch it if you have kids at home! We have had great experiences with Mr. Pena. His crew fixed our basement when it flooded (carpet, drywall, painting, installed vanity and did some plumbing), did tile flooring, scraped texture off our ceilings, installed recessed lighting, and painted the exterior of our house. The work is always great and he is very affordable. We have used him time and again. I highly recommend MP Home repair!

This company aims to please and is very competitive in price. They come back when there is a problem. For owners that are hands on and like to pick out fixtures, tile etc. then you will enjoy the collaboration. I will use them again.
