Djamel Wedding Photography

First, this is a late review as life really got away from us when we returned from our wedding! DJ was an absolute godsend! My husband and I had to change our wedding plans very drastically and with relatively short notice (for a wedding) because of COVID in 2020. Our October wedding in Wyoming was swapped for a June wedding in Florida because of the not-so-great health of a loved one who we insisted be present. We scrambled to find a photographer who was available within the month, and DJ was recommended to us by the hotel. Holy moly! From the get-go, he was charming, professional, and very wonderful. He took in our very pared-down wedding party, and had visions of how he wanted things to look that were very organic and very comfortable. Yes, there was some posing, but he had a way of making everything look and feel natural. We absolutely adore the photographs, and if we lived in the area, he would be the obviously choice to photograph our growing family. DJ went above and beyond the duties of photographer, and I highly recommend him for your photography needs.

Djamel's work is extraordinary at a very reasonable rate. He is very flexible and super quick to respond. Unlike other photographer who charges you a lot and gives you selected 20-50 pictures, Djamel gave me all the great shots he took (about 138). He spent lot of his time on texting and giving his insights on a week long shopping I did for the photo shoot. The pictures are so beautiful that touches my heart. He went beyond his professional responsibilities and bought bunch of dresses and accessories for my fiance and bunch of jackets for me when we failed to buy great stuff. He went back and returned once those were not used on his own. I mean who does that without charging? He did it because he wanted the picture to turn out great. He cares for the outcome of his work. I am super picky and I found him after vigorous online research. Look nowhere else if you need a professional photographer for your events.

DJ is a true professional and artist. My husband and I had a super long wedding day with 3 events starting early in the morning and going into late night. He was effortless, energized, and a perfectionist about his shots from beginning to end. My favorite thing was his attention to detail, whether he was doing couples' portraits or group shots. His fun and charismatic attitude and attentiveness towards all our family and guests did not go unnoticed. We are not the most photogenic couple and he guided us through all the pictures. He communicates well both before and after the day of his services and is quick to get back to emails or text messages. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and work, and are now enjoying our beautiful wedding album! Thank you DJ!

DjamelPhotography was an outstanding choice for our wedding and engagement photos. After researching a number of photographers and narrowing down a few to meet with, Djamel really listened to our vision and was genuinely excited to share in the day with us! His excitement, honestly, was what sold us on choosing to work with him for our big day. From the beginning, he was easy to communicate with, share ideas, and help to bring our very specific vision to reality. His dedication to our wedding -- from shooting all aspects of the day (early morning getting ready until the very ending sendoff) was remarkable. Our guests enjoyed the evening so much more because he was not invasive, but felt like a guest at the party! The photos that Djamel took truly took our breath away. During the planning process, we were able to share our story with Djamel and got to know him as an individual. Hence, our wedding became a project among friends. The love he put into his work and preparation really shined as we entertained and celebrated the event. Thank you for going above and beyond, Djamel!

Djamel is amazing, patient, and very professional. He adapts to his environment. Our wedding had over 250 people, he was able to make it through the commotion and take absolutely beautiful pictures. He is able to capture the special moments.
