Drybar - Tempe at the Watermark

I cant say i loved my experience for my first time in. I went in the other day to get my hair done for my birthday dinner so I thought I would treat myself. It was very rainy outside that day and so I walked in with slightly damp hair when I wanted to get a dry style. The woman at the desk said that they wouldnt dry style it unless it was completely dry and if they were to take out the blow dryer then I would have to pay $20 more because it would be considered a blow out. Odd but okay, Ill come back in 20 minutes when its fully dry. So I came back, I was seated and my stylist came out. Kylie was great, she was kind and a great conversationalist. I could tell she knew what she was doing. But I guess I was just a little underwhelmed with the experience. I was given heat protectant in my hair and then some hairspray at the end. I was expecting to get styling products in my hair (mousse, texturizing spray, etc) but maybe thats only offered with the blowout? Or are they extra? Im not sure if I just misunderstood what the experience was supposed to entail or what but I felt like this was something I could have done at home. I didnt have a problem with the stylist or their abilities, I was just expecting a more well rounded service on my hair to make it an experience that I couldnt just do at home.

I went in on Thursday 1/11 for a blowout. My stylist was Jasmine. I have curly hair and Jasmine did such an incredible job. I cant put into words how pleased I was walking out of the bar. She styled my hair beautifully and effortlessly. I felt zero pain when she was combing my hair. She blow dried it so well. My hair felt extremely smooth and shiny right after she was done. It stayed that way till my wash day. She knew exactly what she was doing and made me feel so confident throughout the entire process. She knew what products to use on my hair and did amazing! Im beyond happy and cannot wait to return back time and time again.

Loved my hair, but Froze when the receptionist propped opened the front door, 60 degrees outside, I have wet hair, when I mention, stylist said she wasn't cold because she was moving, still kept door open. I think the receptionist might have been pregnant, which can make you hotter. But all the customers have varying degrees of wet hair, and it is 60 degrees out
