Billing was deceptive. Inquired about my insurance coverage before visit. I was told by two different people it would be covered. Paid over $500 for a consult and CT scan. Got home and called my insurance because things were not adding up. My insurance would not cover the procedure and this office does not accept health insurance coverage. I had to pay to go to another oral surgeon, who said the CT scan wasn't even needed. I requested a copy of the CT scan and when I gave it to the new oral surgeon they said it wasn't even my daughter's. Very disappointing and dishonest.

The service and care my husband received was excellent. The staff was knowledgeable, thorough in their explanations and very polite. The staff took the time to obtain the required support information to assist the Doctor in performing the most practical solution for my husbands dental procedure. My husband was so relaxed and comfortable under the care of staff and Doctor Ramsey he fell asleep during the dental work.

I had an acute issue with a cracked and infected tooth and was in a lot of pain. Dr Norton and her staff, Cheryl/Katherine/Amira (Woodbridge office), were extremely supportive and professional. They got me in to the practice and eval within 2 days and performed the surgery same day. They were understanding, answered all my questions and concerns and the aftercare was perfect. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them or their office. Thank you!

Dr. Norton and her assistant Kathryn Hernandez did a wonderful job removing an implant for my mother. We had very little dental history to work from, but Dr. Norton did an expert job. They were both so warm and comforting to my mother, who has dementia and had a difficult time following what was happening. The surgical area is healing very nicely!

Im am utterly disappointed in the way this has unfolded. After MONTHS of waiting (in and out of pain from a leaking crown infecting the tooth next to it.) due to their inability to get my insurances pre authorization handled correctly I finally had the surgery to remove 7 teeth. (Wednesday) Immediately when I woke up I was in excruciating crying pain. They were trying to shove a huge Motrin in me and I couldnt even manage to open my mouth as I sobbed in pain. The Surgeon immediately came and hit that area with more Novocain. I was then told they couldnt extract two of the teeth needed due to me moving around too much when asleep. I was disappointed but glad they didnt try and injure me or hit a facial nerve. My biggest issue is since the surgery I have not felt that my pain management needs were taken seriously. Day of surgery I was only given 3 days worth of painkillers. (12 pills take 1 every 6hrs!) after that it appeared the expectation would be that tylenol and motrin should cover it. Which was odd to me because the surgeon said day three / four is usually the worst pain. On motrin / tylenol only after day 3 was far from the actual case. I was in agony and on /off tears trying cold / warm compresses and anything to decrease the pain. I called on Monday expressing my pain being too much and was actually barely able to talk. I wasnt given much choice but to either drive to burke or wait until Tuesday morning since my surgeon wasnt at the Woodbridge office on Monday. I cant drive myself and the other office is over an hour away! So I saw my surgeon on Tuesday who said she could see where it was inflamed and I had blisters. At that time she said she would call in me another script for more painkillers/nausea medication and a medicated mouthwash that was supposed to help with the blisters/ inflammation. When I was taken to get the script the mouthwash wasnt called in. I ended up having to call the emergency line and beg them to send it. I was so desperate to get it cause I knew I only had 3 more days of meds to get the inflammation / blisters down. Once I got it I saw it was only lidocaine! Frustrating cause I have a medical background and know that isnt going to heal up the blisters/inflammation. Anyways here I am a week from surgery and still unable to only take Motrin because I have blisters and inflammation left untreated correctly. Im like okay no big deal Ill take more PTO I am on oral steroids which should help just a bit slower. So I call to ask for a Drs note for my work since Im extending my PTO as curtesy I was going to send a note with it. Thats when they told me per my surgeon they only do 3-5 day excuse notes. Even though by their own scripts Im on pain killers for 6 days and clearly on day 5 im not well enough to talk in zoom meetings all day. I have those two other teeth to get extracted and implants to put in and I will NOT be doing any of that here. Additionally, my partner after seeing my struggle with pain refuses to do his bad crown extraction here as well. I get it the stigma on the opioid crisis but that shouldnt block a patient who has no history of addiction issues from receiving the pain management care they need.
