Richmond Marriott Short Pump

This hotel needs a refresh BIG TIME. My hotel room sink is cracked the toilet seat chipped, the hotel room furniture is a bit beat up. The gym cardio machines are old and don't work correctly. They need to be serviced. Same with the weight machine. The entire work out room needs a refresh as well. The door doesn't latch properly, the 1 workout matt looks like a dog chewed it up and there are no yoga balls. Also, for charging the more expensive rates compared to other hotels in the area it's not worth it.

Hotel needs to upgrade the gym, pool, and bathrooms. Staff was nice though

Overall the hotel is as expected for the price. I will say I was disappointed for not getting the room I specifically reserved. The manager tried to make it right but still was not able to get the room I paid (in advance) for to secure that room type. The hotel also says it has room service but no one answers the room service number so you will have to go downstairs to place your order and pick up your food. The only thing that made up for it was the lounge worker. I did not get her name but she put service first and I appreciated this quality service considering the other shortcomings.
