We contracted with Eric to replace all of the tile in our kitchen with hardwood floors to match the rest of the first level of the house. We reached out to Eric and he quickly responded with an time to stop by the house, discuss the project, take measurements, and address other considerations we hadn't thought of as part of this project. One the first day of the three day project, the team removed the tile and ripped up the sub flooring (there were two layers that had created a lip from the kitchen to the dining room). This was time intensive and difficult prep work. Other contractors had mentioned that there would likely be a lip or uneven transition from the kitchen to the dining room because of this but Eric was able to design and prep the kitchen so there was a seamless transition in the threshold. When it came time to stain the floor, Eric consulted with us and applied two options on the new floors next to the existing floors on the first floor. We thought they looked pretty good, but Eric was convinced that there was a third option so he returned later that afternoon. It ended up being an exact match to the existing hardwood floors. Eric and his team did a great job on this project. They were professional, cleaned up everyday, and delivered quality work including the details. They were on-time, on budget, and I highly recommend them. Service: Install flooring
