I cannot say enough wonderful things about Judge Michele Garcia! From the moment I called to make the appointment, she was a pleasure to work with: warm, sincere, personable. I expected our vows to be pretty standard/run of the mill, but the vows she chose were absolutely beautiful and reflected our feelings perfectly. We all wept, including our witnesses. It couldnt have been more perfect or heartfelt. Thank you, Judge Garcia! (No credit cards accepted-only ATM so be prepared!)

Fast and easy experience for me. I think it may be because I got here as soon as they opened and I was first in the queue with two others behind me. Staff great and knowledgeable.

Robert N Ray was the temporary judge for my case against a slumlord (Steve Hassmann) who illegally harassed me for months starting on move in day asking me not to move in. I was suing for the emotional distress he caused me over those months. Mr. Ray never gave me a chance to speak. He never asked me a single question. When I tried to speak he yelled at me forcing me to beg him to stop yelling at me. He closed my case saying I didnt send a request for repairs by certified mail so I didnt have a case. This had nothing to do with what I was suing about and even if it was, the law states that if you already have two written requests you dont have to do that. I later found out hes actually an attorney that only represents property owners. He has had several reprimands and suspensions in the past. I was not allowed to file my complaint with the state commissioner because I didnt have proof. But you cant get proof because there is no transcript in small claims and they wont give me names of witnesses. They dont have appeals info on the letter they send you and its not on any of the websites. Of course, this had to happen in December. I had to recover mentally and wait for the clerks office to reopen to ask, and she said I missed the 22 day deadline. This is a corrupt attorney judge. Laws dont even matter to him. He should be disbarred immediately. Yet he bounces back every time and ruins peoples lives.
