Candlewood Suites San Antonio Lackland Afb Area, an IHG Hotel

I recently stayed here and was thoroughly impressed by its proximity to Lackland Air Force Base. As someone with ties to the military, the convenience of being just a stone's throw away from the base was a major plus. This made attending events, visiting loved ones, or simply exploring the area incredibly easy. The hotel's location not only saved me time but also provided a sense of comfort knowing I was close by. Apart from its excellent location, the hotel offered comfortable accommodations and attentive service, making my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lackland AFB or the surrounding area. While my stay here was overall pleasant, I did notice a few minor defects in the rooms such as chipped paint. Additionally, the smell of weed from individuals smoking in the parking lot occasionally wafted into the hotel, which was a bit disappointing. However, despite these issues, the hotel staff were responsive and the amenities were satisfactory, ensuring that my stay was still enjoyable overall.

Rooms are clean!! Love the lil dog Killer!!! He makes the place homie!!! Bought him some treats he is well behaved doesnt bark and doesnt bother anyone makes me miss my fur babies!!! He is a must keep!! Makes you guys different from the other hotels!! Only negative would be need to change mattress in room 235 closer to the air conditioner it is so loud from the springs you cannot get out without waking people up
