    I'm not sure where to begin, My boyfriend and I have lived here for 1 year and a few months. Within the past 7 months we had one incident with our oven that was provided with our unit that I tried to use the self clean button for the first time here before taking a nap, if my boyfriend never forgot his work bag and had to come back to our unit I probably would've passed out due to our unit filling with smoke and none of our smoke detectors or any alarms went off in our unit. Which should've been our first red flag but the stove was replaced as well as smoke/fire detectors that actually work. Fast forward to summertime we noticed crickets entering our unit , we never use our patio, we started closing all of our drains, had maintenance check our baseboards for any leaks and putting in requests for pest control who only comes when requested although it's a mandatory monthly fee. All of those things didn't prevent the crickets from coming in as well as a baby lizard so the only place we believe they're entering in at is in our laundry closet where there is an extra open drain which we never realized but once again we put a request in to have it covered because the amount of insects entering our unit on the third floor is outrageous. Fast forward our request was in for almost 2 weeks and maintenance finally shows up to only cover the drain with foil. As well as spray painted our rusted air vent in our restroom but wasn't truthful and said it was a replacement. Besides the constant problems with our unit the apartment as a whole has lost great quality from: random power outages regardless of weather, mandatory non-negotiable monthly fees such as; pest control that only comes when requested, online system to control locks, a/c to unit, leak sensors. It's lack of assistance when their is an issue that you would like solved regardless if you call the office, email, as well as go to the office to speak directly with management. We don't feel valued nor do we appreciate paying as much as we do to live here with unprofessional management.
