Amy is just wonderful! (site manager). We just love the resort, the pool, the dock and the fish cleaning station for after a day fishing in LBJ!:))

We had our Company Christmas party at the resort and it was fantastic! It was already fully decorated for us when we got there so our job was just to relax and enjoy. They also cleaned everything up after we were finished. We will definitely rent this place again I highly recommend!!

Beautiful grounds! Old-school cabins- super clean and comfortable. Perfect for visiting inks lake state park. Would definitely stay again!

We always have a beautiful time visiting Heart of Texas. The view, atmosphere, and location are AMAZING! I would give it a 5 star rating if the mattresses were comfortable, the bathroom door locked, if our oven worked, and if we weren't automatically charged a cleaning fee. We have been coming here for the past 8 years and we used to have to clean the condo ourselves and not be charged if we did everything on their list to do. Other than that, we love coming here! Of course the friends we meet up with make it that much more special. The staff are super nice! Rooms: Need better mattresses for a more comfortable night sleep. Bathroom doors need working locks. I appreciate the towels smelling good and not like they had been put away for a long time. Nearby activities: There is a small convenience store less than 5 minutes away where you can buy things you may have forgotten. There is a winery about 5 minutes away. Great atmosphere and staff! Safety: I do love that the new owners added a secure gate around the property. Makes me feel better allowing my kids walk around.
