        The staff and care I have received at The Portland Clinic over the last 6 years or so from family practice to specialty care has always been top rated. The doctors listen and seem to truly care about their patients. They work with you to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that is right for you.

        Our experience with Dr. Joe Beardsley was very positive. He was a good communicator and was careful to make sure the med was the right one.

        It's a mixed bag. My doctors have all been very kind here, but it's not what it used to be. Appointments always feel rushed nowadays, and part of the problem seems to be low staffing and high turnover, which makes me think that something changed with how they treat their employees for the turnover rate to get so high. I've been going here my entire life and for 22 years I had 2 doctors and one MA who I saw every time I visited, and they all worked here until their retirement. Then, in the past 5 years I have seen three different doctors because two of them quit/moved, and at least as many medical assistants. Front desk staff seems to rotate even faster. Like I said, it makes me wonder at what's happening behind the scenes if staff are leaving so quickly.
