Gabriel Park playground

Really cool park but its BUSY I would recommend going on a rainy day because or else its hard to even get a spot and play with kids

We love coming here to let my kid play. Last time, he was really into climbing the rock wall section. Playground: My kid loves the playground. It has a nice variety of things for the kids to do and can be lots of fun. There's not much shade on those hot summer days. Though there is a frozen yogurt place right down the road.

Its pretty great and I love an accessible playground for all kids. Gorgeous greenery, a basketball court, paths for people to jog, walk their dogs, skate safely etc. Bummer that I overheard a racist incident occurred towards some POC who were having a picnic. It was a family that was pretty quiet and seemed sweet. I was nearby and only saw the aftermath. Fortunately the rangers who responded were validating and showed empathy towards the group, which included small children. Unfortunately, the alleged harasser was long gone. Aside from that, it seems relatively safe. Playground: Accessible!!! With rubber flooring so a kid with a walker can actually get around on the lower levels! Dog-friendliness: So many cute dogs on leashes Picnic area: Pretty clean tables!
