For some reason, I can only review the playground located in this MASSIVE nature preserve. My son and I did go to the playground. It's a good size, typical playground activities, restrooms, SHADE, places to sit, although very limited and right off a parking lot. My son and I explored a lot more of this nature preserve than just the playground. We walked the Cove Trail, which spilled out onto the bank of Lake Wylie, and spent the majority of our time there. Perfect on a sunny 70 day like today with a little one. It's a little slippery everywhere because of it being fall and leaves are everywhere, but the leaves this time of year are also what makes this place beautiful. That being said, if you've never been there before, then like my son and myself, it's a little confusing because it's surprisingly big. I saw some trail markers, but not nearly enough. I didn't take pictures because I needed my map on my phone. I would go back but definitely plan it out a little better beforehand.
