I dont know what is going on at the Howell Mill Rd location but my last view visits have been terrible. I brought my dog in yesterday for a heartworm shot; the receptionist tried to tell me my dog only needed flea medication. After several rounds of back and forth, everything was settled. They take the dog to the back; 1.5 hours later, were ready to leave and tech comes out from the back to get my dog again! They forgot to give her the shot. This is NOT a simple mistake. Pet parents rely on the team to administer medication, especially when they take the dog out of your care and you cant watch to confirm that the vet did what they were supposed to do. Heartworms kill. Get it together Banfield.

New here, but had to come two times within one week. The first time I had to get one of my dogs last minute shots as he had to be boarded instead of watched at home due to recent knee surgery. They were able to fit me in the same day and were so nice and accommodating. The second time I came to have my other dogs eyes checked out. And Dr. Moore is incredibly thorough and attentive. Although the news isnt always what you want, its refreshing to have a doctor that looks at all options and lays them out for you. *Update 11.17.23 Seems like a lot has changed. The last few times Ive gone to this location have been less than ideal. There is no real care for the animals any more, at check in they barely ask what is wrong, and seem only programmed for wellness (other locations even at drop off for wellness put you in a room and ask questions). Had to bring my dog in for an eye issue. They seemed unaware at check in. Following the appointment I was supposed to get a recheck in a week. I show up at my scheduled time and I wasnt on the schedule (mistakes happen). However, there was zero effort to rectify the situation or attempt see my dog, just excuses (new management, etc). I understand they are busy and likely short staffed, but any effort at all goes a long way in rectifying a mistake. Now my dog with an eye injury will wait another week until a recheck or Ill find another vet.
