Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead

Stayed here at the beginning of March and besides the pleasant staff, it was nowhere near a 5 star experience. Booked the Waldorf with my Amex platinum because of their indoor pool and spa accessibility. Spa was loud with people on their phones watching tiktoks in the hot tub and the pool was ice cold. Room service food was terrible (not worth booking with Amex to get added breakfast etc). Beds were extremely uncomfortable. We got locked out of our room for two hours at 7pm after long travel and work days and though the hotel comped us our meal because we had to cancel all of our evening plans, it still was not worth it and the least the hotel could do since it was out of our control. Would recommend staying elsewhere if youre looking for a true 5 star experience.

This place is stunning - suite was the nicest in any domestic hotel I've ever been to, which is a heavily qualified statement - would be at home in Dubai - the staff was a large cut above the rest, the restaurant and bar were truly 10/10 - solidly recommended. Nearby activities: The Slime Museum is something else - unexpectedly interesting. Also go to the zoo. Walkability: Buckhead isn't exactly built to be walkable but it definitely is walkable provided you're physically fit.

Pretty bad experience in this hotel. I ate a plastic in food and the key didnt work, I had to went downstairs to update the key. Also the most important I found the servicer moved my baggage with no permit.
