The Dog Wizard Tampa

We sent our cantankerous English Bull Terrier, Odin, and Freyja, our puppy bully mix, to the Dog Wizard. They went in as crazy pups and came out knowing commands and with tools to facilitate our lives with them. Not only did this make our lives easier but they came back happier, desiring to please and calm. We appreciate the dedication Amado showed to our dogs through his unwavering patience and love for animals. I cant recommend this place enough.

The Dog Wizard has put a lot at ease for us as new dog owners to a sweet but reactively stubborn rescue. Our trainer, Amado was extremely communicative and sent us pictures and videos throughout his stay! We struggled with dog reactivity, listening/follow through, and resource/territory guarding, and we definitely have seen a night and day difference! Our dog, Louie, is a star with the commands we implement and has made our day-to-day routine a breeze, when it was very difficult before his stay. Although his reactivity is still in the works now that hes adjusting to his new normal, Amado has kept up with us for follow up visits and continues to encourage and work with us consistently! Would highly recommend not only for the expert education, but also for the assurance that you will continue to have support throughout your dogs journey no matter the challenges!

We took Colt, our Goldendoodle to The Tampa Dog Wizards to help with aggressive behavior. Reece is amazing. Colt loves his training sessions with her. Reece goes above and beyond to make it convenient for us, working around our schedule. Colt behaves wonderfully for her. I believe we need the training more than Colt - Reece is training us how to make him behave. We take advantage of the free group graduate classes offered and look forward to them. Thank you Reece , we appreciate you!

Our dog did the 14 day off leash training with Amado and he worked miracles on her. We originally brought her in because she is an anxious dog and Amado was able to help her come out of her shell and gave her more confidence. On top of that, Amado was able to help teach her commands and he educated me every step of the way so that when training was over I would have all the tools to continue with training. I would recommend dog wizard to anyone but specifically Amado. He is talented, kind, hard working, but most importantly treats his dog clients as if they were his own. We cannot thank Amado enough!

We had the best experience at dog wizard! Madison our trainer was so helpful and patient. She took the time to teach my whole family the commands she taught our dog so we were all on the same page. I highly recommend her!
